Although this guide is based on the 2009 International Residential Code and not the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code, I must admit that it is by far the best deck building guide I have ever seen. Keep in mind that the 2009 IRC is more restrictive than the WI UDC so anyone can use this guide with success. This deck building guide is very comprehensive, discussing everything from joist hangers and lags to stair treads and grippable handrails. It’s a must have document for all contractors!
